Our History

Lockside Media Services was founded by Ed Hearsey, a seasoned expert with over thirty years of experience in the rights and royalties field. Ed began his career at PRS for Music, then moved to Warner Chappell Music Ltd, where he expanded his expertise in music publishing. In 2002, Ed joined Kobalt Music Ltd, where he set up the Copyright Department and played a central role in developing their custom rights and royalty management system.Before launching Lockside Media Services, Ed spent seven years at BBC Studios, managing its Independent Production Accounting Department. His rare blend of strategic insight and operational know-how enables Lockside Media Services to deliver exceptional value to clients.
